I’m so glad, Jane. That’s why I put it there. I thought the piece by Kidder in the New Yorker was astonishing and remembered it when the earthquake happened. Then I heard Kidder on Rachel Madow and found that everything he said inspired me. I know it is so confusing, to understand where to donate and how it all works. I was also so moved to know that their hospitals weren’t destroyed so can be of immediate help. Thanks for commenting.
Thank you, Martha. I’ve been torn about how to know what is really the most effective place to donate and Tracy Kidder solved the problem.
